Organizing the clutter in our garage has me asking some of the same questions about life. What should I hold onto? What can I let go of?

I recently found a Spotify playlist with the music I was listening to in high school. One word of one song is resonating these days.

In our excitement to celebrate, let us not misread the story. We may feel a bit more fragile this year, but Christmas always has been.

2020 has taught us to hold loosely to our plans. Adapted from a devotion I shared at the opening of our team planning retreat.

These days, it’s pretty easy to long to go back to the way things were, but we’re called to move forward to a new normal.

It may not be a prayer we’re proud of, but crying out to God from pain, doubt and fear has a long history in our faith.
